SPUR has engaged with SFUSD for years to help improve the quality of school meals and the dining experience of students. SPUR has been meeting with staff in Student Nutrition Services (SNS) as they improve the meals program and implement Good Food Purchasing Policy.
While the District works toward improving its overall meals program, SPUR recommends reinstating the current meal provider's contract to ensure students receive continuity of meals and nutrition.
