Next Level Bike and Pedestrian Infrastructure

Cities across the globe are learning that they can no longer accommodate solely for the car and that designing for more sustainable transportation modes is of critical importance. Nowhere does this ethos pair better with innovation than in the Netherlands, where infrastructure like moveable pedestrian bridges, aqueducts and circular bicycle suspension bridges dot the country. However, innovation and intention are also ripe here in the East Bay, as local agencies with lofty ambitions are pushing the envelope of what it takes to elevate our own local projects. Come learn about the best pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure examples from both Europe and the Bay Area.
