Good Government Awards 2018: Sonali Bose Oversees Billions to Help SFMTA Innovate 

The 2018 Good Government Awards, held on March 21, recognized outstanding job performance of those serving the City and County of San Francisco.

Sonali Bose, the SFMTA's Deputy Director of Finance and Information Technology and CFO,

 was recognized for her deep knowledge of city government, her strategic vision and her ability to forge successful interagency partnerships

During Sonali's 10-year tenure at SFMTA, the agency’s revenues have grown significantly, while low- and moderate-income residents have gained greater access to free Muni services.

Hailed by her colleagues as a tireless and consummate professional, Sonali has overseen one of the city’s largest federal grants ($982 million), executed a revenue bond program ($365 million authorized to date) and created new, streamlined programs like SFPark, Pay-by-Phone and MuniMobile that make payment easier and services more convenient.
