SPUR’s former CEO, Gabriel Metcalf, spent the past four years in Sydney, Australia running the counterpart to SPUR, the Committee for Sydney. Please join us for his official “report back” on what he learned. Sydney is one of the fastest growing cities in the developed world, facing many of the same challenges that cities in North America face, but with a very different institutional context. Join us for a conversation about planning, politics, and place, from someone who is uniquely placed to share lessons between cities.
