As California looks to tackle mounting challenges ranging from climate change to housing affordability, the Office of the Governor’s California Volunteers is tasked with engaging and mobilizing Californians in service, volunteering and civic action. One of the most prominent initiatives developed by California Volunteers is the #CaliforniansForAll initiative launched in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic to develop a statewide volunteer corps to provide additional support to the state’s emergencies and disasters. Join us in discussion with California Volunteers’ Chief Service Officer, Josh Fryday, as we take a deeper dive into the importance of volunteerism and how California Volunteers is taking on the challenges facing California.
