The recently released Silicon City offers an intimate portrait of a San Francisco reshaped by the omnipresence of Silicon Valley. Inspired by classic works of oral history by Studs Terkel and others, the book recounts the candid conversations of a diverse cast at the epicenter of a San Francisco transformed by the tech boom, from venture capitalists and coders to politicians and protesters. Join us to hear some of their stories.
