The book The Color of Law argues that racially explicit government policies in the mid-20th century purposely created an enduring pattern of residential segregation that characterizes not only the Bay Area but every metropolitan region nationwide. Join author Richard Rothstein to hear how these pervasive policies demand remedies that we haven’t previously considered in a thought-provoking and enlightening discussion. Co-presented by the Institute for Metropolitan Studies at San Jose State University.
