The measure to repeal the Costa Hawkins Act — a bill enacted in 1995 to limit the ability of municipalities to impose most types of rent control regulations — has been qualified to appear on the November ballot. Hear a discussion of what the repeal could mean across the state for property investors, landlords, managers and tenants of existing and future homes in the midst of a historic housing crisis. As panelists discuss both sides of the issue, hear the latest updates on the state-wide campaign efforts for and against the repeal. In partnership with ULI San Francisco.
