Urban agriculture provides education, places for people to gather and greenspaces in cities. But what about jobs and livelihoods? Numerous city farming and urban gardening projects with a commercial focus have popped up in the Bay Area in the past decade. Join us for a conversation about the viability of commercial urban agriculture with the urban farmers whose businesses have put down roots.

$10 for non-members

Pre-registration is not required for this event.

Refund Policy

Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.

Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.

Thank you for your support of SPUR and your understanding that costs accrue on a per-guest basis before an event takes place.

SPUR will work with you in identifying effective auxiliary aids or services that it can provide. If you need to cancel your request, please notify SPUR at least two business days before the event.
