CANCELLED - Sharp Park walking tour

Unfortunately, this tour has been cancelled. We hope to see you at another SPUR event in the future.

Sharp Park is a beloved public golf course in Pacifica that is facing unprecedented management challenges. Prone to flooding, the park is home to two endangered species and threatened by sea level rise and beach erosion. Lisa Wayne and Dawn Kamalanathan of the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department will discuss current environmental management strategies at Sharp Park and the city’s proposed project to restore the park’s natural lake, Laguna Salada.

Tour will last approximately one and a half hours.

Refund Policy

Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.

Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.

Thank you for your support of SPUR and your understanding that costs accrue on a per-guest basis before an event takes place.

Auxiliary Services

SPUR will work with you in identifying effective auxiliary aids or services that it can provide. If you need to cancel your request, please notify SPUR at least two business days before the event.
