SPUR supports making in-law units easier to create and appreciates legislation introduced by San Francisco supervisors that would extend legalization of ADUs to all zoning districts that allow residential use. SPUR is generally supportive of the Planning Department's case report recommendations. We also offer a few recommendations for expanding the program.
