SPUR is pleased to support AB 953, which would correct some typographical errors made in the chaptering process between AB 68 (Ting), AB 881 (Bloom), and SB 13 (Wieckowski) in 2019. Correcting these errors is critical to providing clarity as the bills go into effect this year. With these critical corrections, 2019’s ADU legislation has the potential to help add tens of thousands of new units to California’s housing stock.
