In celebration of Transit Month, SPUR invites you to our fourth annual tour of San Francisco’s iconic cable car barn and powerhouse! This behind-the-scenes experience will give attendees a unique look at where these historic streetcars are stored, maintained, and restored when they’re not climbing the city’s hills. Attendees will enjoy a private ride on a cable car down to Fisherman’s Wharf and back. Ages 10 and up are welcome.

Saving 4 Seconds Film Screening
Saving 4 Seconds is a film that tells the story through the voices of local families, advocates, and Bay Area elected officials who tirelessly pushed for this life-saving public policy — and the many hurdles they faced along the way. It also features never-before-seen CCTV footage of bridge employees intervening to save the lives of strangers, highlighting the unsung heroes who patrol the bridge every day.
