California's insurance crisis has left hundreds of thousands of homeowners in the wildland-urban interface without affordable coverage options. As the state prepares to elect its next insurance commissioner, the stakes for wildfire-exposed communities have never been higher.

SPUR and Rhino invite you to a candidate forum featuring candidates for California Insurance Commissioner, moderated by Megan Munce, a reporter with the San Francisco Chronicle. Hear directly from the candidates on how they plan to address the availability and affordability of homeowners insurance, the future of the FAIR Plan, and what it will take to protect homes in the wildland-urban interface and address rising climate risks in California’s insurance market.

Audience members are invited to attend in-person in downtown San Francisco, or receive a link to watch the event recording afterwards.
