Join SPUR for a guided tour of San Francisco’s District 5 with Supervisor Bilal Mahmood, representing neighborhoods including the Tenderloin, Hayes Valley, Lower Haight, Western Addition, Fillmore, Alamo Square, Japantown, NoPA, and Haight-Ashbury. The tour will begin at Tenderloin Family Housing, pass through Civic Center, and conclude in Hayes Valley. Along the way, Supervisor Mahmood will share updates on projects underway in the district, discuss his vision for the future, and answer questions from attendees.
Supervisor Mahmood is the son of Pakistani immigrants and the first South Asian and Muslim-American elected to the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. His career has spanned public service, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy, with a focus on advancing public safety, equity, and climate solutions. A lifelong renter based in the Tenderloin, he brings a community-centered perspective to his leadership in City Hall.

Refund Policy
Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.
Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.
Thank you for your support of SPUR and your understanding that costs accrue on a per-guest basis before an event takes place.
