What Is Happening in East Oakland?

Once the epicenter of the foreclosure crisis, East Oakland is now starting to add new homes (including affordable housing) and to construct a bus rapid transit line. How is East Oakland changing, and what are community groups doing to help support the people living in the neighborhood now?

Admission

Free for the public. The first program of each month, in each city, is free for the public.

Pre-registration is not required for this event.

Refund Policy

Sponsorship payments will not be refunded, as sponsorship benefits take effect immediately and are on-going through the date of the event.

Individual ticket purchases If the refund is requested more than 2 business days and less than 10 business days prior to the event, a 25% refund can be issued upon request. Any requests for refunds received less than 2 days prior to an event cannot be accommodated.

Thank you for your support of SPUR and your understanding that costs accrue on a per-guest basis before an event takes place.

SPUR will work with you in identifying effective auxiliary aids or services that it can provide. If you need to cancel your request, please notify SPUR at least two business days before the event.
