The book Roads Were Not Built for Cars traces the pivotal — and largely unrecognizedrole that bicyclists played in the development of modern roadways. Hear from the book's author about how bicycling inspired some of the most famous pioneers of the automobile and how the two transport modes drifted worlds apart. Co-presented by Island Press.
