This four-day exploration of food, farming and films aims to celebrate and challenge our ideas about the food system. Held at the Roxie Theatre, the festival is co-sponsored by Bi-Rite Market and Glam Media.

Special Program Note:

On Saturday, April 5th at 4 PM, the festival will be screening three films about urban farming in the US and South Africa. The films will be followed by a short panel discussion led by Eli Zigas, Food Systems and Urban Agriculture Program Manager at SPUR with Hannah Shulman, City of San Francisco’s Urban Agriculture Coordinator and Novella Carpenter, farmer and author of Farm City and The Essential Urban Farmer.

Served with a tasty treat from a local urban farm (TBD!)
