Unveiling the Ocean Beach Master Plan

Lunchtime Forum

For the past 18 months, SPUR led an in-depth inter-agency public process to
develop a master plan for Ocean Beach. This national park, including 3.5 miles
of open coast on the western edge of San Francisco, has been subjected to
repeated episodes of erosion. These conditions are likely to worsen with climate-
induced sea level rise, leaving major wastewater infrastructure in harm’s way.
Join Benjamin Grant from SPUR and Alma Du Solier from AECOM to discuss the
plan’s vision for addressing a host of overlapping challenges.
