Carolyn Chung

Carolyn supports SPUR's public programs and member engagement with programming, event logistics, and communications. Prior to joining SPUR, she managed a nonprofit resource center in Oakland, building resource capacity, strategic partnerships, and community engagement. She also worked as an educator in California and Spain. Carolyn graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a B.A. in sociology and a minor in education. She studied abroad in Barcelona and received her M.A. in bilingual education at the University of Alcala near Madrid, Spain. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys cooking, reading, hiking, language learning, and discovering the many things the Bay Area has to offer.
