Kiran Jain

Kiran is a legal and policy expert advising venture-backed technology companies, public agencies, and the United Nations on cities, technology, and governance. She previously served as Oakland’s Chief Resilience Officer, where she authored the data-driven Resilient Oakland Playbook, and was a senior deputy city attorney specializing in land use and urban redevelopment. She’s also a former economist for the United Nations and the NYC Economic Development corporation. Kiran has been recognized by the L.A. Times In-House Counsel Leadership Award and NAPABA Best Lawyers Under 40.
