A fantastic new urban farm has sprouted up on top of the Stanley Saitowitz–designed Garden Village project, located five stories in the air and just blocks from UC Berkeley. Tour this quarter-acre operation with the owner of Top Leaf Farms as we learn about how the farm was installed, the opportunities and challenges of growing food for sale on top of a residential building and what this project might signal about the future of rooftop farming.
