Union City is witnessing the birth of a new district next to its BART station, where over 1,200 new affordable and market-rate housing units and up to 1 million square feet of office, commercial and retail space will be built. The twist? The developer is using innovative, modular technology to construct the housing. Come tour a new model for how inner suburbs could create urban villages adjacent to transit.
