Urban Agriculture in Unlikely Places

Tour

Urban agriculture has taken root in some of the densest parts of the city as gardeners work to educate youth about where food comes from, improve access to fresh produce or build community. Join us for a tour of urban agriculture projects in the Tenderloin that do all of the above. Lindsey Goldberg will lead our visit of Graze the Roof, a rooftop garden at Glide Memorial Church, and Nella Manuel and Geoffrey Barton will lead our tour of the Tenderloin People’s Garden, a project of the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation.

Co-presented by the San Francisco AIA.
