Policy
Maeve focuses on advancing equitable and effective public institutions and economic systems in the Bay Area. She brings a background in human-centered design, civic innovation, and public policy, driving her desire to reimagine end-to-end government services for more accessible, inclusive, and effective outcomes.
Prior to joining SPUR, Maeve completed a full time fellowship in public affairs, working on procurement reform in San Francisco City Hall and an affordable housing advocacy strategy. She spent three years in Washington D.C. at the Federation of American Scientists, managing federal innovation portfolios with USAID and the Department of Education, designing public sector human-centered design trainings, and developing science and tech policy recommendations.
Outside of her work, you can find Maeve playing competitive beach volleyball, creating mixed media art, or hosting dinner parties with friends.
