Heather oversees SPUR’s fund development function, advancing the organization's vision, mission, and impact by generating significant philanthropic revenue. She engages key constituencies and provides strategic direction on donor identification and retention. Heather leads a team that raises $8 million annually through membership, foundation, and outright donation solicitations. Previously, Heather served for eight years as the associate vice president of philanthropy at City of Hope, where she was responsible for $15 million in annual fundraising. After attending Texas State University, Heather spent several years working on local and regional political campaigns in Austin, TX. She currently serves on the executive board for the Friends of the Randall Museum, where she and her two kids spend quality time bird watching and taking in panoramic views of San Francisco.
