Shalini Rana Iyer

Shalini is a public policy and community health leader with deep experience driving equitable outcomes across government, philanthropy, and health systems. She currently serves as Senior Director of Community Health for the Bay Area at Sutter Health, and previously held senior health policy roles in the offices of Daniel Lurie and London Breed, shaping citywide strategies around health, homelessness, and family services. Earlier in her career, she led grantmaking and community partnerships at Metta Fund and The SF Foundation. Shalini holds both a BA and an MPH from the University of Pennsylvania and brings a strong regional perspective grounded in community investment and public impact.
