How Do We Fund the Bay Area's Housing Needs?

As the need for affordable housing continues to grow and displacement pressures accelerate, the funding sources for affordable housing are not keeping up. San Francisco has had some recent housing successes in creating a Housing Trust Fund and passing a $310 million affordable housing bond, but what are other new and innovative ways for creating permanent streams of affordable housing funding?
