CANCELED: Do You Hear What I Hear?

Young Urbanists

Scattered around the Yerba Buena neighborhood are signs that encourage active listening. In one location, beyond the noise of cars and footsteps, you can hear a muted trickle of water while in another you hear the faint call of birdsong. These noises populate our urban environment but are often veiled by sounds that are louder or harsher. Join us for a tour around the neighborhood as we stop at key locations and listen to the hidden sounds that make our cities so aurally rich. Generously sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District and Kaiser Permanente.
