Investment in sustainable design for publicly supported infrastructure is a priority for Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s administration, extending its reach to transit stations, water treatment facilities and even affordable housing. The results of this investment are coming to fruition in every corner of New York City. Join David Burke, associate director at Grimshaw Architects and designer of projects such as the Fulton Street Transit Center and the Croton Water Filtration Plant, for a discussion focused on the inspiration and challenges that shape the buildings that advance urban environments.
