Pecha Kucha: What SJ Means to Me

This event will take place in San Jose.

Pecha Kucha is coming to SPUR San Jose! Hear and see designers, thinkers and doers cover a range of topics around population growth and its effects on building, open space, transit and you using Pecha Kucha’s world-famous, rapid-fire format. Speakers will present 20 slides (20 seconds per slide), making for a fast, furious and fun celebration of urbanism. This event will feature Assistant to the City Manager of San Jose Kip Harkness, San Jose District 3 Council member Sam Liccardo, Cultivator of Content Magazine Daniel Garcia, Mike Alvarado of Going Evergreen, Director of Cultural Affairs of San Jose Kerry Adams-Hapner, Program Director of KAFPA Adriana Garcia, and Downtown San Jose resident Emy Mendoza.

Co-presented by Pecha Kucha San Jose and the San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, and supported by the City of San Jose.
