The connection between human health and the built environment, particularly cities and suburbs, is becoming undeniable. Whether looking at an individual room or the larger neighborhood, the materials and components around us have the potential to impact our health. How do we define a “healthy place”? Join a conversation with the author of Making Healthy Places about the human health implications of buildings, neighborhoods and cities — and the suggestions that can foster a healthy environment around us.

Co-presented with Island Press.
