More than half of the world’s population lives in cities, and that percentage is on the rise. Architect and urban designer William Fain’s new book, If Cars Could Talk, examines urban environments and offers fresh approaches to sustainable living practices and the development of vibrant urban neighborhoods. Join Fain as he shares insights for unlocking our cities’ potential, gleaned during his 40-year career. Books will be available for purchase, with all proceeds benefiting the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design. Co-presented by the UC Berkeley College of Environmental Design.
