Tour

Heart of the City Farmers' Market has been operating at the United Nations Plaza in San Francisco's Civic Center for over thirty years. Open two days a week, this farmer-run, non-profit farmers’ market is a crucial source of farm-fresh produce in a "food desert" that lacks fresh food options. Join Kate Creps, market operations manager, for a guided tour of the market and a discussion of what it takes to keep the vendors and customers returning week after week, not to mention year after year.
