How 3-D Is Helping Planners Plan

Mapping has always been a powerful tool for planners and policy makers, but it becomes even stronger with the advent of data-driven 3-D mapping and design software like Esri’s CityEngine. These applications have the potential to enrich planning efforts and to better inform planners about transportation systems and sea level rise.
