Drinks and Discourse: Gabriel Metcalf and Tom Wright

Young Urbanists

The New York-New Jersey-Connecticut metropolitan region's Regional Plan Association (RPA) and the San Francisco Bay Area's SPUR are two of the country's most respected, and renowned, urban think tanks. Both organizations have been proactively shaping their respective regions for decades, and both are helmed by passionate, innovative individuals: Tom Wright has directed the RPA since 2001 and Gabriel Metcalf has lead SPUR since 2000. In the tenth installment of SPUR's successful Drinks and Discourse series, please join us for a special conversation between these two leaders as they discuss their thoughts on the role of the region, the future of our cities and their own work and career paths.
