Who Should Make Land Use Decisions?

Evening Forum

Recent land use decisions around the Bay Area have raised questions about how our region can achieve its desired outcomes, particularly on housing production. Localities say that they know what’s best for their community, but others argue for a means to override the choices of “bad actors.” How can local communities make the best decisions to meet regional and local needs? Join us for a nuanced discussion about how we can resolve these tensions and build the best Bay Area for all. Co-presented by Northern California APA.
