Due to unforeseen circumstances we have unfortunately had to postpone this event for a future date. We'll update this page and announce a new date later this year and we apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause.

The Knight Cities Challenge is a call for ideas that retain talent, promote economic opportunity and engage people. Placemaking is a key strategy to promote all three of those goals, and if you had a chance to enjoy Winter in Plaza de Cesar Chavez or PARK(ing) Day, you know firsthand how placemaking can create fun, active spaces. Engage in a conversation about placemaking in San Jose and the new ideas that could be coming next.
