The Bay Area is in the midst of an economic boom, but how long will it last? San Jose is updating its growth projections and hopes to learn about how many residents and jobs the city expects to add by 2040. Those projections have important implications for how the city thinks about land use (i.e. where to plan for housing, where to encourage job growth, and how much of each to expect). Join us for a deep dive on these numbers, what they mean for San Jose and how they compare with the region’s overall growth projections.
