Lunchtime Forum

San Francisco's seminal 1985 Downtown Plan created significant, lasting physical change on the city and landed on the front page of the New York Times, where it was called “one of the most complete prescriptions for growth an American downtown has been given”. Why was it successful, could it have gone further and is it time for a new plan? Co-sponsored by the Northern Section of the APA California Chapter. AICP CM credits pending.
