Reviewing the Central Market Payroll Tax Exclusion

Since 2010, businesses in certain buildings in the Central Market area have been exempt from additional payroll tax as they add jobs during any six years in an eight-year period. After three years of experience with this program how is it working and should it be continued? Come take stock of the payroll tax exclusion based on a recent economic impact analysis by San Francisco’s Office of Economic Analysis.
