High Speed Rail: Finally on Track?

Will high speed rail become reality? California's high speed rail project has the potential to reinforce cities as the hubs of our economy, relieve congested roads and help California meet clean air and greenhouse gas reduction goals. Yet plagued by an enormous price tag and numerous lawsuits, the project has generated opposition throughout the state. Join Dan Richard, chair of the High Speed Rail Authority, Marian Lee of Samtrans and Elizabeth Goldstein Alexis of Californians Advocating Responsible Rail Design for a lively discussion on overcoming some of the most confounding issues facing the project.
