Virginia Grandi was raised in the Hi Desert of Southern California and graduated from San Diego State with a BS in Public Administration, minor in Spanish and emphasis in intercultural relations.  She later worked as Program Manager for the Boys & Girls Club of Venice and South San Francisco.  She served as Program Director for the League of Women Voters of San Francisco working as their sole staff person for eight elections. 

She currently works as the Executive Assistant to Gabriel Metcalf and as Board Liaison for SPUR.  In addition to her work at SPUR she enjoys the art of bellydance, photography and producing art and cultural events in the city.
