Amie Latterman joined SPUR as development director in 2006. She is the contact for all fund raising questions, including individual membership, business membership, planned giving, grants, and event sponsorships.  Most recently the outreach director for a social enterprise, not-for-profit organization in San Francisco, Child Family Health International, Amie’s background is in fund raising, external communications, marketing and event planning. She has had extensive training in grant writing and individual donor cultivation techniques and is working with the team of development staff and board members at SPUR to build a wider and stronger base of supporters for the organization. She graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a focus in East Asian politics. Amie is a volunteer and former board member for the young Nonprofit Professionals Network national organization and San Francisco Bay Area chapter.

Amie is a California native, having grown up in Irvine. In her free time she enjoys hiking in the Bay Area hills with her family, traveling and exploring San Francisco neighborhoods for great places to eat.
