SPUR recommends the Santa Clara City Council and Mayor of Santa Clara adopt Locally Preferred Alternative Option 4C, which will implement a fully-featured Bus Rapid Transit line on El Camino Boulevard, one of the Bay Area's most important transit corridors. Option 4C will noticeably improve the character of streets and neighborhoods, improve transit service with few impacts on autos, serve as an effective use of transit funding and grow the South Bay's high-speed transit network.
