SPUR urges the Land Use and Economic Development committee of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors to ensure that design implementation at Hunters Point Shipyard and Candlestick Point is consistent with approved plans as well as adopted city policies. The city’s entitlements process offers ample opportunity for department input and signoff. Creating a precedent for reexamining project approvals will add uncertainty to the development process.
