Happy New Year! January is dedicated to a discussion of taxis. We will be joined by the current executive director of the Taxicab Commission, Jordanna Thigpen; Paul Gillespie, president of the Commission; John Lazar, president of Luxor Cabs, and Ruach Graffis of the United Taxicab Workers. We'll discuss the industry in general, but especially the status of the merger of the Taxicab Commission into the SFMTA.
