Over the past three years, economist and transportation activist Charles Komanoff has created a traffic-analysis model that calculates the impact of congestion tolls and transit fares on New York City traffic speeds, gridlock costs and agency revenues at different times of day. In its June issue, Wired magazine pronounced Komanoff's model a "masterpiece." Please join the author for a presentation and discussion of his model and the prospects for implementing congestion pricing in New York and San Francisco.
