Join San Francisco-based artists Rebar, Amy Balkin and Sergio De La Torre as they discuss their projects for the inaugural Sister City Biennial exhibition, Urbanition, co-presented by the San Francisco Arts Commission (SFAC) and CarriageWorks of Sydney, Australia. Their proposals range from improving immigrant rights and revamping the Sutro Baths to re-envisioning BART as a more human-centric system. Learn about the artists’ roles as activists and instigators of civic change. Moderated by Urbanition co-curators Meg Shiffler of the SFAC Gallery and independent curator Justine Topfer.
