This past November, voters in three Bay Area cities passed taxes on sugary drinks. These successes, only two years after San Francisco first failed to pass a soda tax, and the wide margin of support for the taxes may signal a tipping point in public acceptance. Join us for a discussion with leaders of this fall’s campaigns about what led to these victories and what’s next for soda taxes, both in the Bay Area and beyond.
